The dificulties associated with going to the Olympics?
There are difficulties associated with going to the Olympics some which are true and other that are misconceptions. Unfortunately these difficulties and perceived difficulties stop many people from attending this wonderful event.
1: International Flights: When is the right time to purchase your flights? What if you want my flights to not only go to London but also some other countries (like Ireland, Spain, France or Germany) while you are there?
2: Hotels and High Prices: Yes the prices for accommodations and various travel services rise in a city during the Olympics. How can you get the best valur for your travel dollar on hotels, tours, transfers, etc. etc? The 2012 London Olympic Committee has put a hold on virtually all 4-star and 5-star hotels until they have all of their needs met, just like the Beijing Olympic committee in 2008. This makes obtaining quality accommodations even harder.
3: Getting Event tickets: Some tickets for specific events can be hard to acquire. How can you make sure to obtain the tickets to the events that you want to attend?
4. Tours and Logistics: What locations are best for the Olympics? What locations are best for seeing London? What is the best way to get around? If you want to go on tours the days that you don’t have tickets, what is the best way to set this up? If you want to visit another country before or after your Olympic experience, how can you set that up?
