The Mongol Global Tour Company story..... 

    The Mongol Global Tour Company Inc. is committed to providing top quality travel experiences to our clients and friends since March, 1997.  We began our tours with Mongolia and China. We set about thoroughly exploring China, starting with Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Shanghai and Suzhou. Later we expanded out to Hangzhou, Nanjing, and many other sites in the main central and northern areas of China.  Later we added southern China, including Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Zhongdian and the rest of Yunnan province.  We expanded out by adding the travel destinations such as the Xinjiang Autonomous Region:  such as Urumqi, Kashi, Turpan, Dunhuang, Korla, Aksu, and the rest of the Silk Road area. 

    We also added tours to Tibet. In addition to the typical tours such as the Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery in Lhasa we can also take groups on treks to Shigatse, Gyantse or even treks from the Yunnan to Lhasa or all the way to Nepal. 

    We developed different types of tours: such as drama tours, dance and costume tours, textiles tours, cultural tours,  photography tours, adventure tours, luxury tours, dream vacations, choir and instrumental performance tours, EMBA China Business tours, etc. etc and we continue to develop different types of tours as our requested by our clients.  We developed tours general and specialty tours available to the general public as well as custom designed tours for solo travelers and small specialty groups to larger tours for Colleges, Universities, Societies and specialty organizations. 

    Over the last nearly 10 years we have added other countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, Japan, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Nicaragua. 

    We delight in showing people the great wonders such as Bangkok's King's Palace; Angkor Wat in Cambodia; Halong Bay in Vietnam; Luang Prabang in Laos; the Orang-Atan in Borneo; the beautiful temples, beaches and dances of Bali; Inle Lake and Bagan in Myanmar;  

    We take special delight in learning as much as possible about the incredible weavings, hand embroideries, tapestries, silks, dyeing and other textile arts throughout Asia and the world.  We also focus on drama, dance, ethnic minorities 

    Our main office is in Southern California, but we have operational offices in UlaanBaatar, Beijing, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Danang and Managua. We work with direct partners in every country and base our tours on direct experience, general expertise and excellent local partners.  When you book a tour with us you have the dual advantage of being able to book a tour directly with the country you are visiting and the convenience of talking to a knowledgeable travel counselor to help you set up your ideal travel experience. 

    March 2007 marks our tenth anniversary.  We are continuing on our adventure into the future.  In the future we hope to be adding many, many new destinations such as Turkey, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Jordan, Israel, the Balkans and more. 

    We specialize in going on the roads less traveled, the sites less seen and the adventures which are not commonly tried.  We take many of the more challenging journeys so that we can offer them to you without you having to work so hard to make it work.
